The Tray's Feast (Festa dos Tabuleiros) is an ancient tradition that happens every four years in Tomar and it's essentially a feast of colour and movement attracting people from all over the world.

Street ornamentation is one of the most typical ways of expressing joy by the population especially in the historical center of the city, where people are very aware of their identity.

The Festival includes various ceremonies like the "Procession of the Crowns", partial parades and popular games.
